Dr. Rafiq Hirji is proud to offer his patients a true consistent and consultative approach to their dental needs here in the heart of the DFW Metroplex! He and his staff have trained extensively in patient care while continuing to educate themselves on the latest techniques and advancements, specializing in a wide variety of services like dental implants, extractions, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, sedation, root canal therapy, and much more. Patients will experience a true partnership with Dr. Rafiq by receiving real, in-depth care to restore their mouth and/or improve their smile. Additionally, they will always feel comfortable and fully informed about their treatment plans.

Dr. Rafiq was born and raised in Vancouver. Raised by two loving parents who immigrated from East Africa to Canada, the Hirji family started out with very little but instilled strong life lessons and beliefs from a young age, particularly the value of hard work and positive energy. Dr. Rafiq was also fortunate enough to have his uncle, a dentist, as a mentor who showed him a true passion for helping others through oral healthcare. He witnessed patients’ confidence grow instantaneously as the man worked carefully on someone’s smile and knew that he wanted to provide that same change in someone’s life!

After graduating from the University of British Colombia, Dr. Rafiq pursued his dental dream in Los Angeles, where he was accepted to the prestigious University of Southern California, otherwise known as the #1 dental school in the country. He completed his 4-year program in three years and spent his final year immersed in specialty learning and education. In fact, he holds the record for the most dental procedures completed while at USC to this day! After practicing dentistry in California, he fell in love with Texas and knew that was where he wanted to live, raise a family, and improve smiles.

Today, Dr. Rafiq understands that for some people, the smile can be a point of self-doubt or even embarrassment. That’s why his top priority is to have a calm and approachable atmosphere that allows him to provide individualized care in a calm, low-stress environment. Patients can immediately feel his positive energy and loving attitude the second they walk into our practice! “I hope you give my staff and me the opportunity to partner with you on fulfilling your dental goals. Since moving to DFW, Dr. Rafiq has been a true pillar in the community. When he isn’t busy at the office, he can usually be found spending quality time with his kids, and experiencing all the different activities and cultures that DFW has to offer. Some of his other hobbies include keeping up with fitness and cooking elaborate, complex meals to share with loved ones, even though the children still love pizza and chicken nuggets.
